why the heck isn't EXTRA a payback member yet? Extra is the smaller version of real (both Metro owned store chains), but while real is usually only good for those car owning people who do big weekend shopping at the autobahn mall, young urban professionals who maybe dont have a car but rather fly on Lufthansa and walk to the neighborhood store cannot get any points.
Metro is planning to sell off Extra asap and exit the discounter business. All the extras that make economic sense have been converted to real markets (both the extras in my county/landkreis
) If there is an extra near you, soon it will be gone or converted into a real.
