FD miles on AF flights - book now, fly July
My husband is FD Platinum and I'm Silver. We're having difficulty working out what miles we might get for a return trip from BHX to CDG on Air France.
We would book now on Expedia (£91 as opposed to the same flights through klm.com at £141...) for flights in July. I've tried to work out the Fare Class on Expedia and it looks like R class. Does that sound like the right class and is that a non-miles earning class?
Also will any guessing of miles now be invalid anyway once the new program comes in?
We're not sure whether to book BA (we're both BA EC members too) or AF so whether we will get miles is important on which carrier we choose. AF have slightly better timings but we could live with BA if we may not get any FD miles.
