Having had the RM / CX relevant internal designation of the future DME equivalent for 1.5 years or so, yes there are quite a few tangible hidden benefits (which I assume will continue to be kept), but the RM level of service is somewhat inconsistent (especially since this year). And to a lesser extent the outport staff / onboard crew treatment as well.
Work brings me easily to 2,400 (actually 3,600+ this year) but if I were doing it out of my pocket, based on the service in the past 1.5 years or so I would not go out of my way to fly 2,400 status points (as opposed to 1,200) in the future
