My 18K mile Partner J ticket has an outbound in mid December and an inbound in the second week of March. What will my itinerary earn? All that I know is that it will earn something between 22.5K SPs and 45K SPs plus 20% bonus on the international flights to/from the US as a Global Local. If the outbound earns at the current rate, I will be a little short of the next milestone. How do I proceed today?
If I were you I would proceed as if nothing is changing this year and I would plan to earn whatever milestone target you're aspiring to achieve this year under today's rules. But that's me and YMMV.
As we get closer to the end of the year more details of upcoming changes will come into focus and there will be plenty of time to make adjustments before Dec 31.
