There are very limited connections out of KIX almost everything goes out of ITM. Same for NRT/HND. Thats the biggest annoyance with flying into/out of Japan.

For those of us who are really trying to be time efficient, NH has brought back double red-eye (northbound and southbound) and gets most of my Tokyo business. You can go out Friday evening after drinks and dinner and come back Sunday evening landing in time to go home and get an hour or two more sleep.

The other big pro is its into/out of HND not NRT. I don't know why CX wastes HND slots on UO - maybe they can't transfer them since they were granted to a different license ...

The main con is that the J seat on NH isn't great - same level as the CX recliners but the fares can be more consummate with that.
