Datapoint
Cat 1-7 FNA (60 night milestone), expired 12/20/25. Called MHC 2-3 times in the week prior to expiration, asking for “empowerment” like previous experience (above), told no can do. Told since awards can now be gifted MHC no longer has empowerment.
Called 2 days after expiration, asking for 20k points, told (that’s (also) empowerment and) no can do. MHC put me on hold for 3-4 minutes while she d/w her manager, told since I received empowerment a year ago and received “more than I should have”, cannot receive it now.
I gambled, I lost, c'est la vie*.
(* What does "c'est la vie" mean? In French, c'est la vie means “that's life,” borrowed into English as idiom to express acceptance or resignation, much like “oh well”.)
