We flew BMI from LHR - DUB last month, and although the lines seemed rather long at the BMI counters, they moved rather quickly - 20 minutes or so. No wait to get through security, 10 minute walk to the gate.
Depending on how many in your party, it may be cheaper to hire a car...30 pounds or so vs. the 13 each for Heathrow Express. Avoid the taxis though...big $$.
