Completed the trip and flyready wasn’t an issue. I was surprised that VS would not through check my bag from LHR through JFK to my final domestic flight. I had to collect my bags at JFK, get them tagged and hand them in again. VS said that they don’t through check on separate tickets with Delta because they dont want the liability. Somewhat makes sense but they’re supposed to be partners and Delta did through check them when heading to London.
