Airport tests stepped up security
CHARLOTTETOWN – It's something you've seen in movies, but now staff at the Charlottetown airport are having their eyes and fingerprints scanned for security.
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority is testing biometrics – the science of using people's unique physiological characteristics to verify their identity – with airport staff.
