Standard is more like a mid range lifestyle brand. It’s never going to or expected to compete with the likes of PH. If you can afford it, go for the other two, they are clearly superior.
But IMO, it’s not comparable to Holiday Inn. The HI resort in Maldives is close to Male, old, looks cheap and often with group package tourists. It’s actually located right next to a large island that has a dozen hotels and resorts.
The Standard: OWV are big (110 vs 115 at PH) and have plunge pool as standard (pardon the pun). The villas are modern and the beach looks better than many other resorts.
