This train route presentation and plans had a groundbreaking ceremony today with President Sheinbaum in attendance. It's expected to be completed by October 2027. It will leave CDMX (Buenavista) and stop in the cities of Huehuetoca, Tula de Allende, San Juan de Rio, ending in the city of Santiago de Queretaro. The route covers the states of Mexico, Hidalgo and Queretaro.

The travel time will be 2 hours.
