I've always lucked out on long hauls getting Polaris odd numbered A/L seats. This time I got window 16L. No odd windows are available. 15D/G and 1D are open. Noise doesn't really bother me, but congregating around lavatories into the aisle next to me does. What do the experts advise?
Keep watching. I've never not been able to get an odd window at some point prior to departure. If not, I would take an odd D/G over an even A/L (but personally not rows 1 or 9).
