[size=16px]Didn't book using Avios (used QF points instead) however we were able to book for 2 in J departing 06.11.25 MAN-HKG-KIX on CX and returning 24.11.25 HND-LHR on JL. All booked on 01.12.24.

JL J availability did seem to be regularly released however the booking window with Avios I believe may be too late to find any availability - prior to booking, was looking daily (on QFF) and there was regularly 2 J seats at the max date in advance (on both daily HND-LHR JL flights) but gone within a day.[/size]

[size=16px]There were AY options available from EDI however for the same points cost (and roughly the same taxes) CX and JL seemed to be better options. AY also fly to KIX and NGO (the latter I believe is seasonally), so may be worth looking at those options.[/size]
