Question for the group. Looking to use GUC for trip next Sept MSP to AMS - MXP to MSP. D1 is available now on outbound but not return (yet). Looks like cost of one-ways are about the same as RT. Does it make sense to buy one way now using GUC and then keep checking for return availability or buy RT now and hope return clears waitlist.

With my luck, I'd select a return and then a different return than selected would have D1 GUC space and I'd have to change existing and maybe end up spending more.

Curious for your suggestions - TIA
