As a security professional, I am interested to know if Debbie Wheeler (cyber) or David Garrison (SVP physical security) team were involved. If not for this forum, I can inquire, but unlikely I'd get a straight answer.
I'd also advise filing a PCI-DSS complaint, since payment cards were utilized, and this could impact Delta's annual reporting (compliance) on safe and secure payment terms (yes, gift cards are covered):
