Audis actually have been adding more and more standard features to their cars. I'd actually rented the Audi A5 Sportback several times from National, and always came away really liking the car. So this year I put my money where my mouth is - and I bought myself a 2024 A5 SB Premium 45 (base model with the more powerful engine).
The car has literally 0 options, but it comes standard with adaptive cruise, heated seats/steering wheel, sunroof, and leather seats. I played around with the configurators for the BMW 330i and Merc. C300 online, and to option them to the same level of specificity (they do not come standard with leather, sunroof, heated steering wheel or ACC), it would cost 4,000 to 6,000 more.
Given that, I think Audi is quietly actually one of the best value propositions among luxury cars.
