fbg is right, your maths is a little off. CDG rtn in CE with the triple miles promo would net the following:

Pleb: (500+250)*2*3 = 4,500 + 80pts
Silv: (500+250+125)*2*3 = 5,250 + 80pts
Gold: (500+250+250)*2*3 = 6,000 + 80pts
