Yes they have. Both on revenue & award flights. DL once did it almost 6 months out on another Skyteam partner.
I mean... did you book an award seat which was cancelled.. and they put you on a revenue seat because there wasn't any award availability on your route? If they did that... they're really the exception and I'm very impressed with DL's customer service.... and I'm assuming you're not a DL 360.
