Stop 6. British Airways Galleries First Lounge Part 1

The British Airways lounges are Lounge H at Terminal 3. The lounges are open from 05:00 to 22:00 each day.

The lounges can be found at the end of this long and rather industrial tunnel.

The automatic doors open up into a reception space suffering from an excess of mood lighting.

First Class lounge and First Class dining are to the left, business class to the right. Once checked into the lounge (and reminding the dragon that you need a First Dining Invite) you enter into the lounge proper that stretches both left and right.

I have yet to see this lounge even close to busy and so it is an enormous space versus the number of occupants.

To the left is the main open seating area and free serve bar

In the centre of the space is the wine station complete with feature chandelier

Heading back to the entrance there is the champagne bar to the left, again with feature chandelier

Next comes the children’s play area to the left. This smelled really funky when I popped in for phoros

The coffee stations are to the right, opposite the clients play room

And finally the lounge opens out again into a large dining space and manned bar
