We originally had 3 hours to make the transfer but Delta have been changing the flight times on a regular basis and this has been nibbling away at this time, so now we're down to 2 and a half hours, so...
When we clear immigration and customs in Terminal E, I assume we then recheck our hold bags and exit landside into the main departures concourse?
Is it correct that we should then walk or get the Airport Shuttle bus to Terminal A?
I have seen reports of airside transfers from A to E, but assume they don't go the other way and what ever we do, we need to go back through TSA security when we get to Terminal A?
Any help in clarifying things would be greatly appreciated. 👍
You can take the free airport shuttle bus from Terminal E to Terminal A. The routing varies at certain times of day, but at most times you will want to take the bus that stops at all the terminals, not the one that goes from E to the rental cars and the airport T station (for public transportation into downtown Boston). Terminal A will be the next stop after leaving Terminal E.
