Pro tip: if you go to the flightaware website on your browser after connecting to the United wifi, you can access not only the flight you are on, but others as well (DIY - you have to put in the flight info manually for lookup, but it's worth the extra second or two). Flightaware website allows you to turn on optional features such as nearby airport, flights, etc

Personally I never use the link from the United app, and just go straight to flightaware.

My only complaint is tracking lag time, but then again, it's free.
