We had a short stay at D'angleterre a couple of months back - room was very comfortable, service was quite good, and the location is just outstanding - definitely recommend it. It's not perfect (breakfast was meh, the elevator key card system was fussy and unreliable, spa treatments were just okay, and the price point is high---though that's just Copenhagen I think), but overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
It is a very expensive hotel for what it is, unfortunately. The rooms are extremely well maintained and large for CPH - and it is the best hotel in the city. But on occasion, I divert to the Sanders nearby, which is a different sort of place, but very nice.
