I'm at Villa Copenhagen right now and it's indeed a BIG step down from other luxury hotels. Room is dark and tiny. Slippers are not provided "for environmental reasons". I requested them twice and they still haven't managed to deliver them. Turndown not provided (maybe on request, but didn't ask). At check-in they told me I had be upgraded, only to find out it is a wheelchair accessible room with low-mounted sinks and handlebars in the bathroom. The minibar was half empty when I checked in - I hope the don't dare to charge me for the missing stuff. Breakfast experience is horrible - in a huge, cavernous basement hall with self-serve coffee from WMF machines. Doesn't Preferred Hotels have some sort of minimum standards? The only redeeming point is the restaurant - food there was excellent.
