AY only fly every second day so flying the day before is not an option on AY. I've been quoted about AUD390 to re-issue from SIN-SYD to BKK-SYD. This AUD 390 is pretty close to a full WHY web fare on CX or SQ (less on TG and the real cheapies) for BKK-SIN. That means only AUD 50 more to go J class (very tempting - but for a 2 hr flight?). Looks like overnighting in SIN before the day or night flight back to work in SYD. Ho hum - trip over until the next time.
