Good Morning Everyone!
I recently made the big decision to transition my career from engineering & design, back towards a sales and business development path. Now that I find my way back into the job market, I'm not quite ready to leave the road warrior lifestyle. Over the past decade as a frequent flyer, I've grown to love the dynamic pace of this work environment. Plus, my dearest mother eagerly waits for those free annual trips back to the Greek Motherland.
Would anyone be willing to share any recommendations or helpful tips on finding legitimate travel-centric positions? Unfortunately, the search terms "Travel & Sales" yield way too many scam postings.
If anyone happens to be seeking to fill a role, here's a quick Hail Mary, with a brief, albeit crude, oversimplification about me:
With formal education in Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Technology, I eventually stumbled down the path that made me a sustainability consultant. There, I accidentally wound up becoming some kind of expert on green building design and construction. However, I'd rather be constructing sales strategies and building relationships instead. My sales acumen ranges from having a background in peddling bootleg DVDs in grade school to closing high-value contracts with Fortune 500 C-Level Executives. I'm now on the lookout for a role that not only do I know I can succeed in but also one that actually brings me joy - because who needs the stress of worrying about a building collapsing all night? 😅
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, guys!
