I'll be flying AMS-JED-DMM on Saudia.. I have a 9 hour layover in JED and wanted to use the aerotel transit hotel. But having never been to JED Before, I wondered how to access it?
I'll be traveling with hand baggage only, Can I access it directly from my arriving flight (before i go through customs) or do i have to go land side, then check back in again? If i do that, will the JED-DMM domestic flight let me back into the right area of departures to access the hotel?

The hotel is airside: you'll go through transit security, then up to the departure level, where you'll find the hotel. Security is straightforward and usually fast, though there's occasional chaos.

The hotel's not cheap, but it beats any alterrnative.
