Garner hotel brand

I don't already see a thread on this -- I received an e-mail today from IHG letting me know that Auburn, Washington will be the first hotel in a new IHG brand -- Garner Hotels & Resorts. https://development.ihg.com/hotel-brands/garner-hotels

From what they provide to developers, it sounds like this brand is intended to be a landing place for existing properties that are on their way down and no longer meet brand standards for their existing brand. They promise a hot breakfast, but from the images, it looks like a breakfast-in-a-cup kind of offering. So my assumption is that this breakfast will be inferior to what HIE offers.

Another thing I don't like about the brand is that it positions itself as being pet friendly. Sorry, but I don't want fleas and ticks and urine stains in my room.
