Note LAX the OW lounge is only available if flying LA metal. (I guess remnant of being in OW)

Any flight crossing the ITCZ will experience turbulence.

Also LATAM 787 can end up being 1-2-1 DoD depending on aircraft used. (New 787s have the new seats)

All said, I enjoy LATAM in flight better than DL. However I always buy the ticket from DL if can . LA reservation agents are awful.
Just curious what airports you've been departing. I've not had a post-COVID PDB ex LAX, LIM or SCL. And on my countless ITCZ flights (maybe 100 or so) my Pacific experiences are a lot less choppy than my Atlantic ones. Not that I've not had a few rough rides on "this" side, but nothing like the Atlantic side.

The LAX lounge situation has changed twice, post-LA OW. For a time, LA was using the *A lounge, and now they're back to the OW lounge. Probably a simple case of what the lounges want to charge LA per visit.
