You needed to register for this promotion on ba.com/bonusmiles before 29th April 2003. Since you had not registered for the promotion, hence you were not eligible for Bonus Miles.

Well, (a) the original email said there was no need to register, and (b) it was only sent on 13 June, so I have no idea how I was supposed to able to register in April...

Wonder how long (and how useful) the next response from BA customer services will be...
