This thread and KI-NRT have been invaluable. Thought I might see if anyone has recommendations for ryokans with the best food in Hokkaido - planning to head there in late November. We noted KI-NRT's review above of Akan Tsuruga Besso Hinanoza, for example, and wondering if there are any other suggestions for spectacular cuisine in Hokkaido to consider.
