I do not travel much but have Silver Elite with Marriott due to signing up for their credit card. Will this get me an upgrade when staying at their locations? Also, will they offer the upgrade of do I need to ask?
Marriott does not seem big on upgrades, but on the plus side they always seem to have really nice rooms, so I don't much care.
I am a Silver and have never been upgraded, though on occasion they give me a Platinum amenity (cookies and water), which is always appreciated.
