We are back from Copenhagen and ended up at the D'Angleterre, which was ultimately an excellent choice. The other options didn't have the room configurations and quantities needed and, as we have been happy here before, we kind of backed into it. There were many children in the house and we never felt uncomfortable - in fact, as someone posited above - they were spoiled by the lovely staff. The location is ideal for touring and we used the metro frequently to get around. We looked at the Nimb while at Tivoli and I think that in the summer the outdoor concerts practically on top of the hotel would bring an uncomfortable level of noise. As well, the surrounding area was a bit less appealing. The square facing rooms at the D'A were decently quiet, but some noise was noted. For me, a small price to pay
for the fantastic view.
I want to thank everyone who weighed in to help with this decision. As it turned out, we didn't have as many choices as we expected.
