Unless you can find something that says what you want to do has no fee, then I would assume all changes are subject to the fare brand's change fee.

Huh, I've been reading and interpreting with blinders on. I see your point now. I'll likely just cancel this booking then and start over with a new frame of mind. Appreciate the quick comment/feedback.
