It depends what your travel patterns are. Many locations near US national parks only have Choice and/or Best Western and/or Wyndham, and otherwise only indie hotels, and with Choice it often costs the same number of points to redeem for any room that's available, so you may be able to get the biggest suite for the same number of points as a 1-king-bed room when booking weeks ahead at many Choice hotels. It depends on the specific hotel which rooms exist and which rooms are available on points.
