just spent the weekend with my parents in Montreal as we are not going to be around for the holidays. Pop had read about a place called Katz's (no relation I hope the the tremendous NYC Katz') which is where we dined on smoked meat this trip.
STAY AWAY from Katz's in Montreal! very poor, not worth any effort to go even if you are next door to one.
