My recollection of Eglinton is that they will force you landside and then airside, which won't take long, it's a small building, I think my barn is a bit bigger. But the ground crew may allow you to the departure area but the layout means it shouldn't make much difference, the right side is where the arrival carousels are, the left side is the departure zone (it's like a bus station, just central seating with very little gate structure) and in between right and left is security, it takes up almost the entire gap.
