Just checked out of the StR and I regret it.
Had to fight for an upgrade (already booked a suite and others were available), they didn’t apply the $100USD STARS credit on the folio and didn’t apply Happy Hour pricing from the bar last night. The welcome letter was for FHR, which didn’t bother me, but is obviously an issue for a luxury TA.
Was running late so didn’t have time for them to argue so my TA will deal with it. I’ve never had a hotel nor instantly remove a disputed charge or fix a billing error, rather argue with the guest.
The hotel was nice ten years ago but is aging poorly and I won’t stay there again.
