Marriott timeshare booked through Airbnb?
Due to the vacation rental credit on the Venture X, I searched Airbnb and found a Marriott vacation club property on there.
After booking it, the airbnb seller sent me a screenshot of a booking and after I checked the confirmation, it says MVC exchange and a Marriott number I don't recognize which I assume is for that person.
Anyone book something like this before? I know that some timeshares allow you to sublet and transfer weeks to other people so I assume booking this was OK? Would it be a big no-no if at check in to ask to link my own Marriott number to earn any potential points and/or elite night credits?
