Thanks for that. Spoke to the branch (they actually answered and were pretty friendly). No guarantee of a 4WD or AWD but the chap did say they are very good at pushing away any non 4WD or AWD they get. Asked if I should stick with Group S or change to Group W, he said stick with Group S (more space, more room, more luxurious), but as I understand, Group W or Group S have no more or no less chance. For the sake of around $20, I'm happy to keep the bigger Group S and who knows what my Avis Presidents Club may (or may not get).
Separate note, originally had a 'Small SUV' reserved from Budget at Denver Airport for 2 days, for around the same cost as just 1 day here.... however having read the reviews of that location, it's not worth the hassle.
