Completely agree. It never hurts to have more properties in the portfolio. If I don't like them, then I won't go, and that's fine by me. Simple as that.
Now to me, the biggest question is how well these acquisitions would be integrated into the WoH program, especially when it comes to elite benefits. I loved the AMR acquisition with the all-inclusive options in Mexico, but their elite recognition has been all over the place. If these new additions can provide real benefits along WoH terms, then the more the merrier. My only fear is that they'd be excluded from anything tangible, from upgrade to TSU eligibility, and at that point Hyatt would become merely an OTA like Expedia.
