Thanks! I am only staying 6 days. It is kind of chancy to renew it even with expedite 3 to 5 weeks as it is Christmas time! Reading up on this, it seems like US citizen could enter Mexico with Global Entry card which I have and more than 6 months before expiring. I just need US passport to return to US. I probably will bring my GE card just in case something goes wrong.
