Quick quiz on ... who got the first one.
Based on the standard records, which airline was the FIRST to take delivery of these types :
- Boeing 757
- British Aerospace 146

Boeing 757 - I believe Eastern was first with the type. And my very first flight on the 757-200 was with EA on the very short hop from St. Thomas to St. Croix.
British Aerospace 146 - I think this was our old friend here on the OTAQ&D: Dan-Air. However, I'm not sure whether it was a series -100, -200 or -300.
