I don't see why a/c type would impact pre-orders, especially on that route. If it were a route sometimes served by Delta Connection, then perhaps.
I should clarify. My guess is that they didn’t integrate this fully into their system yet in terms of catering cause the plane was so new. But just a speculation since I’ve been receiving all other Pre order emails just fine.
