Earlier this year there was a 6x on all GC, but Amazon did not post automatically. I had to argue with them to get points, in the end they paid up (as a one time gesture) when I pointed out the ad did not exclude Amazon GC. I did not bother trying a second time as I was heading out on vacation the following day
