Correct. I'm just wondering if maybe it's because I had used 30k miles for the ticket but then upgraded at check in? I'm 600 PQP short of status renewal for next year based on the future flight projection so I was thinking last month that it would be the easiest way to hit the threshold without doing a mileage run (and travel home from Europe in comfort) but so far no luck. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to reach out to customer care again. I feel like I've seen on here that DOD upgrades count but it wasn't my experience so I wanted to ask directly!
