I just requested an upgrade to Polaris using my pluspoints -- but then I realized my mileageplus number wasn't in the reservation yet. (someone had booked the ticket for me)
I added it -- it's in there now, but after the upgrade was requested.
Does the list automatically correct my place in line -- at least periodically checking whether people still have status? Or am I stuck at the bottom of the list as if I didn't have status?
Given how glitchy UA's systems have worked in the past (including on several occasions upgrading platinums ahead of me as a 1k), I started to get worried about doing things in the wrong order...
