Although if you eliminate the dopamine from the equation, and just look at cold hard facts, First Class Lounge is just a marketing tool. OK, nice free food and alcohol, but at the end of the day, it's still basic cafe food and I suspect I'm not the only one in a position that can easily afford to superior food to what's on offer in most oneworld FCL's (not that I'm OWE any more, haven't been for years) albeit perhaps not at most airports (Changi being an exception, due to the plethora of restaurants at Jewel).
