1. UO is basically a LCC of the CX group. You must make sure that CX will check your bags through. I do not know.
Agree it is better if someone has such experience, but from a technical standpoint, CX can through-check bags to UO. UO is an interline partner of CX and, in fact, CX codeshares on UO's flight to HKT.
