srbrenna the 47% abv seems to have been enhanced away. I always used to buy Tanqueray duty-free at that higher proof point but the last couple of months it has been reduced to 43%. The price has not been reduced however.
I have also noticed that the 0.0% Tanqueray is line priced / more expensive than the 43% version so there is clearly some good margin being made. DF is rarely a bargain IMHO although there are occasional exceptions (and for smokers, the cost-savings do seem larger)
