How does this work then? I can purchase it on Highlife but when does it get delivered? Is it back on board or are there any plans in this direction? Otherwise I’ll just get it before departure but I used to prefer doing it on board to give the commission to the cabin crew.
If you mean with 'Ill just do it before departure' that you buy in the terminal much please note that there isn't much (if any?) duty free as we knew it anymore in the UK (at least for the Guccis/ Tiffanys/ etc of the world). I don't buy alcohols or cigs but I believe - someone please correct me - the price of these goods is just slightly cheaper but not actually duty free.
I always feel sorry for the staff in the Tiffany / Gucci stores as they are now almost always deserted - I spent a few pounds there but now its simply much cheaper to buy in the EU.
